(May 27, 2009   Stillwater, OK) – Na’Cole Woods, a graduate student in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, has received an internship with Trigon, an investment banking firm in Poland.

Woods, who is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration, will spend the Fall 2009 semester in Warsaw, Poland, introducing American business customs to Trigon’s employees and analyzing business deals offered to the firm from companies throughout Europe. The internship is sponsored by Spirit Bank in Tulsa.

“This is an amazing opportunity to expand my educational horizons and to explore Europe in a way that is not readily available in most study abroad programs,” Woods said.

Woods is the third OSU student to receive this internship. She will be earning credit from OSU-Tulsa while abroad.

“This is a life-changing experience for our students,” said Gary Trennepohl, president of OSU-Tulsa. “Few have the opportunity to live, work and learn in a foreign country, at a top firm, for four months.”

Woods earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from OSU in May 2007, with a major in accounting and a minor in marketing. She will earn her master’s degree in December.

“I am very excited at the prospect of spending time working in Poland and exploring the surrounding countries,” Woods said. “This will be my first trip to Europe, and I fully intend to make the most of my time abroad.”
