Students celebrate Earth Week at OSU
Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Earth Week is here and today students celebrated Earth Day on the Lawn with the 26th
annual Earthfest celebration. Earthfest is sponsored by ECO OSU, a campus organization
committed to spreading awareness about the need for sustainability locally and internationally.
There were more than 40 organizations represented at Earthfest according to Brooke
Brandon the ECO OSU President. "Earthfest is a good oportunity for many different
organizations to get together and celebrate Earth Day, and talk about different sustainability
opportunity opportunities locally and nationally," Brandon said.
Earthfest is just one of the many events hosted by ECO OSU. Be sure to take part
in the remaining events, let's show the world how sustainable OSU can be.
