Association awards scholarships to freshman and transfer students

The OSU Native American Faculty and Staff Association has awarded its 2010-2011 transfer and freshman scholarships. The transfer scholarship recipient is Choctaw Nation member Matthew McMurtrey from McAlester, who tranferred from Seminole State College to major in Fire Protection and Engineering Technology at OSU. Freshman scholarships go to Kyle Pingleton from Hartshorne, a member of the Choctaw Nation majoring in Entomology at OSU, and Kristen Enyart from Wyandotte, a member of the Seneca-Cayuga tribe majoring in biological science with an emphasis in pre-pharmacy.
