Benefit concert and coffee on Thursday
OSU’s student chapter of Engineers Without Borders is seeking community support to help the families of a Honduran village fight disease and a high infant death rate with clean water. The group is working to pay for water filters that it will start installing at its next visit to the village during spring break. EWB members are inviting the OSU community to come to its annual fundraiser called “Music + Coffee,” a benefit concert featuring the James Price Band and all-you-can-drink authentic Honduran coffee. The event will be held at the UHBC Coffee House at 3rd and Knoblock on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 8 – 11 p.m. Admission is $5 at the door. For more information, e-mail austin.burton@okstate.edu.
