Tuesday, February 9, 2010

STILLWATER, OK – High school students from across Oklahoma and Texas will have the opportunity to visit Oklahoma State University on March 27 and participate in Greek Discovery Day 2010 while learning about the Greek community and recruitment process.

Greek Discovery Day 2010 will take place on Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  All high school juniors and seniors and their parents, as well as any current non-Greek OSU student, are welcome to attend.

Students and parents will learn the benefits of Greek membership and joining the Greek community. The day will include informative, exciting programs for students and parents to enjoy. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in chapter house and campus tours.

“We are very excited about Greek Discovery Day and the opportunity we have to show students the different aspects of Greek life,” said Louise Billingsley, Panhellenic Council external vice president. “Being Greek has provided me with so many amazing opportunities and this event is a way for interested students to see what it is all about.”

Students can register online at http://union.okstate.edu/GoGreek/GDD.htm. The online registration deadline will be noon on Friday, March 26, and all mail-in forms must be received by Thursday March 25. Any registrations received after Friday, March 5, will not include a Greek Discovery Day T-shirt.
