Help make OSU Up Close event a success
Friday, November 12, 2010
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will play host to its largest recruiting event in school history Monday when more than 2,000 prospective students are scheduled to visit campus for the OSU Up Close event.
Buses from 19 locations across the state, as well as Wichita, Kan., will reach campus Monday, November 15 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The students will spend the bulk of their day touring the six colleges, participating in projects, taking part in mock lectures, viewing current OSU competition teams and much more.
OSU faculty, staff and students can help make the Up Close event a success by welcoming prospective students and families to campus. Be on the lookout for Up Close attendees who will be wearing black drawstring bags with an OSU logo and show them your best Cowboy hospitality.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions also hosts campus tours twice a day Monday through Friday throughout the semester. Students participating in tours can be spotted carrying an orange plastic bag. Please extend the same hospitality to these students. Everyone on campus from faculty and staff to current students play a vital roll in helping make the visit experience memorable for each future Cowboy.
