Wednesday, December 8, 2010

More than 250 alumni, students, faculty and staff of the Master of Business Administration program at Oklahoma State University recently gathered for several MBA Alumni Reunions in October and November 2010. Among those attending the event in Houston were Larry Crosby, Spears School dean; Bob Winfough; Chuck Watson, chairman of CLW Investments, Inc.; and David Capron, 1972 OSU MBA alumnus.
More than 250 alumni, students, faculty and staff of the Master of Business Administration program at Oklahoma State University gathered for MBA Alumni Reunions this fall to kick-off a year-long celebration of the achievements of OSU MBA program students, faculty and staff.

“These reunions were an excellent way to begin our celebration year by helping us honor the individuals who shaped the MBA program’s history and continue to shape its future,” said Lawrence Crosby, Spears School dean. “We look forward to the next 6 months of our commemoration year by reaffirming our commitment to serving the business community through integrated, high-quality MBA teaching, research and outreach.”

At the reunions, which were held in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Kansas City, Dallas and Houston, attendees were able to network with alumni and MBA program faculty and former directors, learn about advancements in the MBA program, and hear from executive leaders from various professions. In addition, the Spears School hosted a tailgate for MBA alumni and friends prior to the OSU Homecoming football game on October 23.

The OSU MBA 50th Anniversary Celebration will conclude with a Gala Event held in Stillwater on April 15-16, 2011. The OSU MBA 50th Anniversary Celebration Steering Committee anticipates the Gala Event may be one of the largest alumni reunion events in OSU history.
