OSU/A&M Regents approve personnel actions

Several personnel actions were approved during the Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents meeting on Oct. 22 on the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M campus in Miami.

APPOINTMENTS: Jon W. Ramsey, assistant professor, agricultural education, communication and leadership.

CHANGES: John M. Chaney, professor of psychology, appointed to director of the Center for Native American Studies; Melvin E. Lacy Jr., associate professor of accounting, adds title of Wilton T. Anderson Professor; Chad M. Stefaniak, assistant professor of accounting, adds title of Haskell Cudd Professor of Accounting; Craig L. Hannon, change in title from interim director to director, Fire Protection Publications; Michael H. Kerntke, promotion from programming analyst to director, telecommunications.

RETIREMENT: Carol L. Bender, entomology and plant pathology, Dec. 31; Richard P. Batteiger, English, Jan. 3, 2011; Katherine L. Bost, library, Jan. 4, 2011.

At the Center for Health Sciences, a title change was approved for Kirby L. Jarolim from professor and chair to professor and director, anatomy and cell biology.
