OSU's FiJi Chapter receives honorable mention

The Sigma Omicron Chapter of the fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta at Oklahoma State University
in Stillwater was recently recognized with a national award for the 2009-10 school
year at the fraternity’s 162 Ekklesia (biennial convention) in Phoenix, Ariz.
Sigma Omicron received an honorable mention in the Cheney Cup as Phi Gamma Delta’s
most outstanding chapter. All awards are given on an annual basis.
Founded in 1848 at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Phi Gamma Delta
is represented on 132 campuses of leading colleges and universities throughout the
United States and Canada, and has a total living membership of nearly 120,000.
