OSU’s Warren chosen for Young Scholar Award

Dr. Jason Warren has been chosen to receive the 2010 Soil Science Society of America Young Scholar Award on Monday, Nov. 2, at a meeting of the organization in Long Beach, Calif. The S6 Young Scholar Award recognizes scientists who have made an outstanding contribution to soil and water management and conservation within seven years of completing their Ph.D. In just two years at OSU, Warren developed educational programs in soil quality, soil erosion, animal waste management practices and soil carbon sequestration.
