Record enrollment at OSU

OSU hit several enrollment milestones and welcomed its largest freshman class since 1981 this fall. OSU set a record for system-wide enrollment (35,073) and graduate student enrollment (4,981).

Average ACT of freshman class – 25.2, all time high
514 freshmen with 4.0 high school GPA, most of any public research university in state
Students in freshman class come from 40 states and 25 countries
More than 23% of freshman class (826) are Native American, African American, Hispanic, Asian American or international students
Freshman class includes 643 first-generation students
70% of freshmen from Oklahoma; one in five (484) are first-generation students
