Team places in “Battle of the Brains”

An OSU team finished fifth out of 24 teams in the IBM-sponsored “Battle of the Brains” contest held over the weekend at East Central University in Ada. The contest presents each team with eight complex problems modeled after real-world issues that require the team to develop computer programs to solve within a total of only five hours. The OSU team included, Benjamin Popp, senior from Owasso; Teodor Ene, freshman from Stillwater; and Travis Denny, graduate student from Ponca City.
