Wu to receive national honor

Dr. Yanqi Wu, assistant professor of grass breeding and genetics at OSU, has been selected to receive the National Association of Plant Breeders prestigious 2010 Early Career Award. The award officially recognizes an individual in the plant breeding field who has demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in research, teaching and collaboration with others. Wu joined the OSU faculty in July 2006. His current research is focused on progress for bermudagrass used for turf and forage, as well as switchgrass for bioenergy. For more details, click here.
