Kristin Shelby, the 2012 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, earned a bachelor’s degree
in elementary education from Oklahoma State University. Shelby teaches fourth grade
a Sallie Gillentine Elementary in Hollis, Okla. She is a National Board Certified
Teacher with 16 years of teaching experience, including the last three in her current
position. Shelby, is a native of Elk City, Okla.
