Ballistics expert debunks JFK assassination myths
Dr. Larry Sturdivan, ballistics expert and author of JFK Myths: A Scientific Investigation of the Kennedy Assassination, will present the OLLI @ OSU Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 1 pm in the Stillwater Public Library auditorium.
Sturdivan is the leading scientific authority on the weapon and the wounds. He debunks the myths and gives clear evidence based on velocity, density, bullet deformation and neuro-muscular response. Sturdivan will be featured on a National Geographic special airing in November.
The Town Hall Meeting is sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute @ OSU, a program of educational courses for people who want to enrich their lives through new learning experiences. Courses, workshops, lectures and study trips on a variety of topics are offered each semester by qualified volunteer instructors from various backgrounds ranging from academia, business, the arts and government.
The Town Hall Meeting is free and open to the public. Non-members are requested to contact the OLLI office at 405-744-5868 for reservations and space availability.
