Bill Moyers, Renowned Journalist and Author, visits THE LIVING ROOM WITH GERRY BONDS

Moyers is well known to fans of public media. For many years, he hosted “Bill Moyers Journal” on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), and he established Public Affairs Television in 1986. He has won more than 30 EMMY Awards in his 40-year broadcast career. His current project, “Moyers and Company,” is in production with WNET-TV in New York.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Bill Moyers as our guest,” says host Gerry Bonds. “He witnessed the policy-making process in the White House during some very tumultuous times in modern American history, and he now speaks with passion about the economic catastrophe that has affected so many people across our country.”
Moyers served as Press Secretary to President Lyndon Johnson from 1965 to 1967, and witnessed history-in-the-making at the highest level. During his White House years, major legislation on civil rights and voting rights was signed into law. Moyers also watched the disintegration of LBJ’s administration due to the American public’s disillusion with the Vietnam War.
