Candlelight vigil to honor Kylie Jobe

A candlelight vigil to honor OSU student Kylie Jobe will take place Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at Theta Pond. Jobe¹s sorority sisters of Gamma Phi Beta are hosting the event and inviting the OSU community to attend and celebrate her life.

OSU police department will escort the women from the Gamma Phi Beta house to Theta Pond. The celebration will be officiated by Cody Chaloner of LifeChurch. Jobe was killed in a car accident Wednesday, March 23 near Wilson, Kan. She and boyfriend, Kyle Thornburg, were returning from Colorado when their car collided with a truck.

Jobe was a 20-year-old junior accounting major. She was an active member of her sorority as well as a member of the OSU Spurs. The family has requested that memorial gifts be made in memory of Kylie Jobe to the Oklahoma State University Foundation, P.O. Box 1749, Stillwater, OK 74076.
