Cowboy Angel Tree to help children at Christmas

Cowboy Angel Tree is underway

The kickoff event for Cowboy Angel Tree was held in the Student Union Atrium at noon on Monday, Nov. 14, with the Burnin' Black Gospel Choir on hand to set the mood. Everyone is invited to come by and pick an angel from the tree anytime between now and the end of the month. With your help, Cowboy Angel Tree helps provide holiday cheer to over 350 local children in need.

Each angel includes the age and gender of the child, clothing size and a wish list for toys, games, etc. Before leaving the atrium with your angel, please be sure to complete the tag that comes with it and put the tag in the box provided near the tree.

All angels, along with unwrapped gifts, should be returned to Marie Basler in 036 Classroom Bldg. no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011.Cowboy Angel Tree is coordinated and sponsored by the Non-Traditional Student Organization at OSU, contact Marie Basler at marie.basler@okstate.edu or phone (405) 744-5488.
