Staying on campus for spring break? Come get a free lunch and listen to presentations sponsored by Residential Life and University Counseling Services at the Family Resource Center, corner of Walnut and McElroy, behind the University Laundry, 719 N. Walnut, at noon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday:
Tuesday, March 15: Stress and Anxiety Management Tips - Stress and Anxiety can affect your academic performance, relationships, and other aspects of your life. We will teach some coping strategies (e.g. how to calm your body and how to correct your thinking). Participants will receive a small “goody” bag. Presented by Carol Challenger, Ph.D., of the Student Counseling Center.
Wednesday, March 16: Balancing Life and School - Planning and using your time more efficiently so productivity goes up and stress levels go down. Presented by Joni Hays, Ph.D., and Veronica Sutton, M.S., of the Academic and Career Development Center.
Friday, March 18: Writing Resumes and Curriculum Vitae for effective job search strategies. Presented by Monte Stallings, M.S., International Studies, who is a Senior Career Consultant at the OSU Career Services office.
