Freshman Friday: LeeAnn Kapanick
Friday, April 1, 2011
Oklahoma State University is offering a closer look into the lives of its freshmen students. Each Friday, one freshman will be highlighted on the OSU Facebook page as part of the "Freshman Friday" feature. The freshmen profiles will share students' first impressions and experiences at OSU and create a unique way for others to get to know first-year students. If this is your first year at OSU and you want to participate in "Freshman Friday," please contact Amy Wilson at amy.k.wilson10@okstate.edu.

Why did you choose to attend OSU?
I chose OSU because as soon as I stepped foot on campus, I fell in love with it!
The atmosphere, the people, the great programs…Who couldn’t love it?
What has been your favorite experience so far?
My favorite experience so far has just been being somewhere different. I grew up
in “the mountains” and it was a shock driving through OK and seeing such flat ground.
What do you wish you would have known before coming to college?
That it actually does snow in Oklahoma. I was hoping for summer weather all the time!
What changes do you hope to see during your years at OSU?
Definitely more parking areas.
Where do you see yourself after graduation?
Well, other than having a degree in my hand, I’m not really sure where I will be.
Four years is a long time and I have so many choices!
What advice would you give to high school seniors who are thinking about coming to
OSU?
Come check it out. Once you do, you’ll see why so many students are proud to be part
of the OSU community.
