Oklahoma State students initiated into Mortar Board

Forty eight undergraduate students at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater were recently honored for their exceptional achievements in scholarship, leadership and service to the community by initiation in the Achafoa chapter of Mortar Board.

Mortar Board is a national honor society for college students that recognizes qualities of superior scholastic ability, outstanding and continual leadership, and dedicated service to the college or university community.


New members and their hometowns are:

ALVA: Ashlyn Pfeiffer, agricultural communications.

BIXBY: Blake Choisnet, aerospace and mechanical engineering.

BROKEN BOW: Dawson Metcalf, history/political science.

CHEROKEE: Kelsy Stein, animal science.
