There’s been an ominous ticking sound in the Union the last few days. All the screens show a countdown to … something. No, it’s not Thanksgiving, but you’ll be giving thanks to the University Store at the Student Union after this event. It’s time for the big reveal. Cue drum roll.

The University Store One Day Sale presents Black Friday savings early this year. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 a.m., the University Store is offering huge savings exclusively for Oklahoma State University students, faculty and staff on a large selection of technology merchandise.

Additionally, the University Store will give the first 50 people through the doors Thursday morning a free pair of Ear Pollution Ear Buds. Shoppers may begin lining up on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Student Union North Plaza.

Shoppers can also enter to win a free iPad. The drawing will be held Friday and you do not need to be present to win.

All of this saving can make even the most experienced shopper hungry, so enjoy free pizza in the University Store at 10:30 a.m. to regain energy to keep shopping.
