OSU announces speakers series roster for Oklahoma City and Tulsa

Tony Blair will be one of several world renowned speakers for the 2011-2012 Executive
Management Briefings in Oklahoma City and the Tulsa Business Forums speaker series,
presented annually by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business along
with corporate sponsors.
Blair will speak in Stillwater at Gallagher-Iba Arena on October 31 from 3:30- 5
p.m.
Each year, these speaker series showcase world leaders, renowned business and political
leaders, authors and policymakers to the Oklahoma City and Tulsa business communities.
Both the Executive Management Briefings and the Tulsa Business Forums are coordinated
by the Center for Executive and Professional Development at Oklahoma State.
The “Remarks by Tony Blair,” featuring the former prime minister of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland from 1997 to 2007, is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1. He will
address the Tulsa business community at the Mabee Center in the morning and speak
that afternoon at the Oklahoma City Civic Center.
“The Executive Management Briefings and Tulsa Business Forums are something the Spears
School takes pride in each year,” said Larry Crosby, dean of the Spears School. “These
programs are a way for OSU to bring well-known business and government leaders to
Oklahoma City and Tulsa. It is my pleasure to see these programs and the Spears School
looks forward to many more.”

Nov. 1, 2011 – Tony Blair, former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 4-5:30
p.m., Oklahoma City Civic Center.
Feb. 9, 2012 – Jerry Stritzke, president and chief operating officer of Coach, noon-1:30 p.m.,
Cox Convention Center.
March 16, 2012 – Randi Zuckerberg, former head of marketing of Facebook and current founder and CEO
of R to Z Media, noon-1:30 p.m., National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.
Tulsa Business Forums
Nov. 1, 2011 – Tony Blair, former prime minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 10-11:30
a.m., Mabee Center.
March 15, 2012 – Randi Zuckerberg, former head of marketing of Facebook and current founder and
CEO of R to Z Media, noon-1:30 p.m., Hyatt Regency Hotel.
May 1, 2012 – Peter Sheahan, bestselling author and founder of Change Labs, noon-1:30 p.m., Hyatt
Regency Hotel.
Individual registration in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa is $275 for the series, or
$75 per seat ($60 for 30 or more seats) for the Blair presentation and $100 for each
of the luncheon presentations.
