OSU Coaches vs. Cancer SWISH Day

Thursday, February 24, 2011

Coaches vs. Cancer will hold its SWISH Day fundraiser during the OSU men's basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 12:30 p.m. Four children currently battling cancer will be introduced prior to the game and then will then shoot baskets to help raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer.  Each child will be paired with a “celebrity” who will either rebound or shoot for them.

Buckets will be passed throughout the arena during the first time out to collect donations. In addition, cancer survivor, 10 year old Morgan Snowden will be selling sets of 8 note cards she designed for $10.  The note cards are also available at Joes’ Clothes, DuPrees, and Chris’ University.

All proceeds raised during the event and from the sale of the cards will benefit the American Cancer Society and all money stays in the state of Oklahoma to fund research, education, and patient services.
