OSU Drumline a first at convention

For the first time ever, the Percussive Arts Society has invited drumlines to perform at its international convention and the OSU Drumline was one of three which performed on Friday at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The drumline presented “Gameday in Stillwater,” which includes many of the standard selections OSU fans hear at home games throughout the season. The OSU Marching Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Wayne Bovenschen and Stuart Langsam. Coincidentally, OSU alum Jon Weber, a 1996 music education graduate, is an instructor for Michigan State University, one of the other drumlines performing at the convention.
