OSU to host world-class dance company

The Paul Taylor Dance Company will be performing in Stillwater on Saturday, March 26 at 8 p.m. in the Seretean Center Concert Hall on the OSU campus.  See what is considered the best modern dance troupe in the world today. Vanity Fair recently described Paul Taylor as “the greatest choreographer in the world”.

The company has won an Emmy Award and a nomination for an Academy Award for best documentary feature film in 1998.  Their tour schedule for February and March 2011 reads as follows:  New York City, Atlanta, Washington DC, Stillwater (OK), San Francisco, and back to New York City. 

The "inside story" for this performance will be presented by Jessica Novak, supervisor of Stillwater’s Multi Arts Center in room 123 of the Seretean Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. on the night of the show. Her presentation is free of charge and open to the public. 

Tickets for the performance are $20 and $22 for the general public.  $8 tickets are available for children 12 and under and OSU students.  Tickets can be purchased at the Student Union Bookstore Utoo temporary facility or by calling 405-744-7400.  For more information please call OSU Allied Arts at 405-744-7509.
