OSU presents double-bill operas

The OSU Opera and Orchestra will present two operas starting at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28 and 29, with “REVIEW a satire, an opera, a party” and “Il Segreto di Susanna” (Suzanna’s Secret) in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts in Stillwater. “Review..” is about 15 minutes in length and “Il Segreto di Susanna” runs about 50 minutes and will be performed in Italian with English subtitles. Visiting lecturer Jeremy Beck will offer a lecture at 7 p.m. in room 123 of the Seretean Center before each performance. The lectures are free and open to the public. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for students and seniors, and may be purchased at the OSU Department of Music or the box office one hour prior to each performance.
