OSU student has Winning Edge

Oklahoma State University student Courtenay Dehoff will be featured on the TV show The Real Winning Edge this weekend. Dehoff over came the death of her best friend to excel in the sport of college rodeo.

The Real Winning Edge is a national program that encourages young people to see beyond their own circumstances and realize they are not alone in their struggles. The program hopes to instill confidence and optimism in teenagers who are reaching for their dreams.

The series features real-life high school and college students who face challenges such as substance abuse, being abandoned by their parents, suicide of someone they loved, and the myriad problems youth face. The profiles document how they achieve victory not only in their fields of talent, in sports or the arts, but in their personal lives through making wise choices.
