OSU Symphony Orchestra to perform Thursday
The OSU Symphony Orchestra will perform its first concert of the season on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts in Stillwater.The concert will feature OSU associate professor of oboe Celeste Johnson on Antonio Pasculli’s Concerto on themes from Donizetti’s “La Favorita.” Gustav Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 1 will conclude the program. The orchestra is under the direction of Douglas Droste. General admission is $8, students and senior citizens $6.
