OSU Theatre launchs 40th season with laughter
OSU’s Theatre Department has kicked off its 40th anniversary season with James McLure's hilarious one-act companion pieces “Lone Star” and “Laundry and Bourbon” through Oct. 23. Set in Texas during the Vietnam era, these plays reveal the complexities and challenges for those returning home from war as well as their families and friends. Both plays were heralded for their bitter humor that the Hollywood Reporter claimed “unveiled a major comedic writing talent.”
The shows run Oct. 18-22 at 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 22-23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Davis Theatre in Gunderson. Tickets are $5 at the door. Mature content, not suitable for family audiences. For more details, click here.
