OSU Veterinary Center hosts open house

Friday, February 18, 2011

Visiting students listen as a 4th year veterinary student at OSU’s veterinary center explains the importance of horse dental care during a previous Open House.
Come visit Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences during Open House on Saturday, March 5, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Look inside Oklahoma’s only veterinary college and see what tomorrow’s veterinarians are learning.  Discover the facilities and technologies available to care for your animals.  See a variety of exhibits and live animal demonstrations covering many aspects of veterinary medicine.

Take self-guided tours of McElroy Hall to see what students are learning and of the veterinary hospital, which is open to the public providing animal healthcare at its best.  Many displays and hands-on activities will be presented.

Participate in the Zoo, Exotic and Wildlife silent auction (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and the live auction (1 p.m. to 2 p.m.) where all proceeds help fund medical and surgical care of local wildlife.

There is no charge to attend Open House.  No personal pets are allowed and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Join us for Open House at OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences!
