OSU/A&M Regents approve personnel actions

Several personnel actions were approved during the Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents meeting on Friday at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
APPOINTMENTS: Shaoqian Zhang, assistant professor, art; Toby Nelson, assistant professor, chemistry;
Ronald Rahaim, assistant professor, chemistry; David Chan-Tin, assistant professor,
computer science; Tingting Chen, assistant professor, computer science; Nancy Caplow,
assistant professor, English; Brian Jacobson, assistant professor, English; Jeffrey
Menne, assistant professor, English; Juan Meng, assistant professor, media and strategic
communications, Virginia Broffitt, assistant professor, music; Ryan Gardner, assistant
professor, music;
Jerimy Polf, clinical assistant professor, physics; Susan Miller, assistant professor,
political science; Timothy Peterson, assistant professor, political science; Bradley
Blaylock, assistant professor, accounting; Alexander Boquist, assistant professor,
finance, Joel Cramer, associate professor, applied health and educational psychology;
Benjamin Solomon, assistant professor, applied health and educational psychology;
Jennifer Volberding, assistant professor, applied health and educational psychology;
Kimberly Davis, assistant professor, teaching and curriculum leadership; Faryl Kander,

For the Center of Veterinary Health Sciences, Shelby Hayden, clinical assistant professor,
veterinary clinical sciences and Holly Moore, clinical assistant professor, veterinary
clinical sciences. For OSU-Oklahoma City, Tiffany Smith, associate professor, public
safety.
CHANGES: Francis Epplin, agricultural economics, title change from professor and Breedlove
professorship to professor and Neustadt Chair; Dale Alspach, mathematics, title change
from department head and professor to professor; Kyle Wray, title change from associate
vice president to vice president, enrollment management and marketing; and Richard
Barr, academic information services, title change from interim director of infrastructure
to director.
RETIREMENT: John Chandler, professor of computer science, effective September 1, 2011; and Jan
Wagner, professor of chemical engineering, effective October 31, 2011.
