Two long-time Oklahoma State University deans were named Regents Service Professor
at Friday’s OSU/A&M Board of Regents meeting in Ardmore. Karl Reid, professor and
dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, was named a Regents
Service Professor and Director, while Mike Lorenz, professor and dean of the Center
for Veterinary Health Sciences, was named a Regents Service Professor. Seungho Moon, assistant professor, teaching and curriculum leadership; Brian Neely, research assistant professor, chemical engineering; Chen Ping Wang, professor, civil and environmental engineering; Vignesh Rajamani, research professor, electrical and computer engineering; Hamed Hatami Marbini, assistant professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering; Mary Ruppert-Stroescu, assistant professor, design, housing, and merchandising; Yea Sun Chung, assistant professor, hotel and restaurant administration; and Todd Jackson, clinical associate professor, laboratory animal resources. From OSU-Oklahoma City, Rose Smith, associate professor and associate division head, health sciences; Lori Gore-Green, clinical associate professor, OB/GYN; and Jeremy Jones, clinical assistant professor, pediatrics. CHANGES: Wade Borsen, title change from Neustadt Chair to Regents professor and A.J. & Susan Jacques Endowed Chair to Regents professor and Jacques Chair, agricultural economics and Mark Payton, title change from professor and interim dean, graduate college to Regents service professor, statistics. Daniel Ferris, promotion from director of utility services to facilities director in physical plant administration; Mitchell Kilcrease, promotion from Student Union director to assistant vice president and Student Union director; and at OSU- OKC, Melissa Herren, promotion from interim director to director, human resources. RETIREMENT: Charles Potts, associate professor of psychology, effective June 30, 2011; William Clarkson, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, effective July 31, 2011; James Breazile, professor psysiological sciences, effective August 10, 2011; Vicki Phillips, professor and head of the library, effective September 1, 2011; and Linda Taylor, assistant professor of the library, effective January 9, 2012. |
