OSU/A&M Regents Approve Personnel Actions

Two long-time Oklahoma State University deans were named Regents Service Professor at Friday’s OSU/A&M Board of Regents meeting in Ardmore. Karl Reid, professor and dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, was named a Regents Service Professor and Director, while Mike Lorenz, professor and dean of the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, was named a Regents Service Professor.

Daniel Ferris, promotion from director of utility services to facilities director in physical plant administration; Mitchell Kilcrease, promotion from Student Union director to assistant vice president and Student Union director; and at OSU- OKC, Melissa Herren, promotion from interim director to director, human resources.

RETIREMENT: Charles Potts, associate professor of psychology, effective June 30, 2011; William Clarkson, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, effective July 31, 2011; James Breazile, professor psysiological sciences, effective August 10, 2011; Vicki Phillips, professor and head of the library, effective September 1, 2011; and  Linda Taylor, assistant professor of the library, effective January 9, 2012.
