OSU/A&M Regents Approve Personnel Actions

Regents Professor John W. Mintmire was named head of the Oklahoma State University Physics department during the Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents meeting Friday on the campus of OSU-Oklahoma City. In other action, Robert M. Taylor was named research professor and director of the new product development center in the College of Engineering and Gary C. Clark, vice president-University Relations, was named vice president and general counsel.  The Board approved the following: 

APPOINTMENTS: Yongfang Li, research assistant professor, and Kevin Wilson, assistant professor, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology;  Douglas S. Henderson, assistant professor, Music; Susan M. Miller, assistant professor, and Timothy M. Peterson, assistant professor, Political Science;  Monica Papes, assistant professor, Zoology;  Adrienne Barnett, adjunct instructor, HRAD/ Student Union Hotel Operations, Jeri N. Jackson, instructor , OSU-Oklahoma City-Health Sciences; Michael T. Cannon, clinical assistant professor, Center for Health Sciences-Family Medicine; and Michelle M. McElroy, clinical associate professor, Center for Health Sciences, OB/GYN.

CHANGES: John W. Mintmire, Regents Professor and interim head of Physics, change in title from interim head to head; Robert M. Taylor, research professor and director of general engineering, title changes to research professor and director of new product development center; Gary C. Clark, vice president, University Relations, title changes to vice president and general counsel; Cornelia O. Nickel, clinical associate professor at Center for Health Sciences-Family Medicine, promotion from 12-month appointment.
