What is your number one advice to students?

Those of us privileged to obtain a university education, and perhaps even a graduate degree, have a responsibility to contribute back to
the community, the state and the nation that made these accomplishments possible. Just as our successes have been facilitated
by the outstretched hands, the generosity, and the wisdom of our parents, teachers, and colleagues, we in turn will have the honor
to help others who choose these paths.

What is the most satisfying aspect of teaching?

Helping students to find and hone their unique interests and strengths, and to use them to follow a unique and meaningful career path.
