Spitler selected for national honors
The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers has selected Dr. Jeff Spitler of OSU and his co-author Dr. Bereket Nigusse at the University of Central Florida, to receive the society’s 2010 Crosby Field Award and the 2010 Transactions Paper Award for the technical paper “Refinement and Improvements to the Radiant Time Series Method.” The awards represent the highest recognition from the organization.
The Crosby Field Award is presented to the authors of the highest rated paper presented before a technical session, symposium, or poster session of the society during 2010. The ASHRAE Transactions Paper Award recognizes the top four papers presented each year before a technical session at society meetings. Spitler will receive the awards at the Society’s Annual Conference in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Saturday, June 25.
