Oklahoma State University's Morris and Stewart Udall Scholars were recognized at a
banquet for this year's winner in Tucson, Arizona, in August. Pictured, from left,
are Flint Holbrook, junior in Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering from Clover,
South Carolina; Gail Gillilan, unit assistant in OSU's Henry Bellmon Office of Scholar
Development for more than 22 years; and Blake Jackson, senior in Agri-business and
Environmental Studies from Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Holbrook and Jackson are the most
recent winners from in this prestigious national competition that focuses on native
American and environmental issues. OSU has compiled an impressive record for the
Udall with nine winners in the last five years, including a record four in 2010.
