2012 Season Grand Finale rescheduled to Tuesday

The OSU Concert Choral and Chamber Choir have rescheduled their 2012 Season Grand Finale to Tuesday, April 17, at 8:15 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 411 W. Mathews Ave. at Duck Street near Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Bad weather forced postponement of the event on Friday night when the organ was silent and not a note was sung by the choirs or the five guest artists. “The anticipation and excitement for the concert by singers and audience alike was incredible, but Mother Nature decided to take center stage for the evening and this wonderful event was postponed for the safety of all involved,” said Conductor Z. Randall Stroope.

 Solo musical artists, April Golliver (mezzo-soprano), Babette Belter (clarinet), Jeffrey Loeffert (saxophone, John Seesholtz (baritone), and David Hughes (organist) will take the stage on Tuesday, along with the Oklahoma State University Concert Chorale and Chamber Choir to present an electric evening of modern works.  Tickets are on sale at the door ($8 general admission/$6 students and seniors).
