Abramson to be honored for teaching excellence

The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence has selected Dr. Charles I. Abramson, Regents Professor of Psychology at OSU, as the winner of the Oklahoma Medal for Excellence in Teaching at a Research University. A 26-year veteran of teaching, Abramson instructs students in the psychology of learning, the history of psychology and comparative psychology.  He will be joined by four other outstanding educators to receive a $5,000 cash prize and a glass sculpture during the foundation’s 26th annual Academic Awards Banquet on Saturday, May 19, at the Renaissance Tulsa Convention Center.
