Betty Thompson earns first runner-up honors

Congratulations to OSU’s own Betty Thompson who earned first runner-up honors and a $25,000 scholarship at the Miss America Pageant over the weekend. Thompson was selected as the top contestant in a Facebook and Miss America online fan poll. The elementary education senior placed first in the talent portion of the Pageant.
