The Botanic Garden at OSU is seeking gardening enthusiasts

The Botanic Garden at OSU is accepting applications for the 2013 Payne County Master Gardener Program as well as its ambassador training program through Dec. 14.

The master gardeners are primarily an educational group dedicated to sharing gardening knowledge while the main objective of the ambassador program is to support the Botanic Garden at OSU and its role as a public garden. Training for both programs consists of 11, four-hour training sessions covering all aspects of horticulture.

Applications are due by Dec. 14. Sessions begin Jan. 18, 2013, and meet every Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Botanic Garden’s educational building, 3425 W. Virginia in Stillwater.
