Annual Cowboy Angel Tree drive underway
You're invite to particpate in the annual Cowboy Angel Tree drive to help ensure a merry Christmas for children throughout Payne County.
Those who wish to pariticipate are asked to select a paper angel from the tree on the second floor of the Student Union, across from the Campus Life office. Each paper angel includes the age and gender of the child, clothing size and a wish list for toys, games, gift cards etc. Before leaving with your angel, please be sure to complete the tag that comes with it and put the tag in the box provided near the tree.
All angels and unwrapped gifts are due back no later than noon on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Campus Life desk (211 Student Union). This year, there will be more than 350 Angels on the tree representing children from DHS Foster Care, Payne County Youth Services, Family Resource Center, Stillwater Domestic Violence Services and the Mission of Hope Homeless Shelter.
Anyone wishing to make cash donations is encouraged to contact marie.basler@okstate.edu. or phone (405) 744-5488.
