Lanners presents master class for NYU series
Dr. Thomas Lanners, OSU professor of piano and keyboard area coordinator, presented a master class Thursday, Feb. 9. for the NYU Steinhardt School of Music’s Piano Artist Master Class Series.
The series is one of the most prestigious of its kind in the U.S. Each spring, it features renowned pianists and pedagogues who are on the faculties of the Juilliard and Manhattan Schools of Music (among other schools such as the Oberlin Conservatory, which has two faculty pianists on the series this year), and several pianists who are in the city to solo with the New York Philharmonic.
