Largest LTAP group yet earns certificates
The Local Technical Assistance Program, an OSU outreach project for construction and maintenance of transportation systems employees at the local level, recently awarded Roads Scholar Completion Certificates to 49 individuals, the largest group in the program’s history. The awardees include county commissioners, county road employees, tribal transportation department employees, and local government employees in related fields. Each recipient has completed more than 120 hours of classroom instruction and laboratory experience to earn the LTAP certificate, offered by the College of Engineering Architecture and Technology.
The awards ceremony was held Thursday, June 28, in Oklahoma City during a luncheon sponsored by six heavy equipment dealers from around the state including Boxcer Equipment, C.L. Boyd Equipment, G.W. Van Keppel Equipment, OCT Equipment, Warren Caterpillar Equipment and Yellowhouse Machinery Equipment.
