Martin Luther King Jr. Day events set for Stillwater/Tulsa
The public is invited to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by joining in a march and program scheduled for Monday, Jan. 16. The march will start at 6:30 p.m. outside the Stillwater Public Library at 1107 S. Duck. It will proceed to the Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 9th and Knoblock, where a program in honor of King will begin at 7 p.m.
OSU Residential Life will host a candlelight vigil in honor of King at the fountain in front of the Edmon Low Library in Stillwater on Monday at 7 p.m. The Burning Back Gospel Choir will perform as part of a 45-minute presentation. For more details, click here.
