Oklahoma State University appoints three new deans

DANILOWICZ APPROVED AS DEAN OF OSU COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Bret S. Danilowicz, Ph.D. has been appointed dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. Danilowicz will assume his role Aug. 1. Danilowicz currently serves as dean of the Allen E. Paulson College of Science and Technology and professor of biology at Georgia Southern University.
Under his leadership, Georgia Southern was ranked as one of the best colleges in the
nation for minority students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs
– STEM – by Forbes magazine.
CARROLL NAMED COLLEGE OF EDUCATION DEAN AT OSU
Pamela “Sissi” Carroll, Ed.D. has been appointed dean for the College of Education. Carroll will assume her role July 1.
Carroll will also serve as OSU’s Director of Professional Education and hold a tenured
appointment as Professor in the School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership.
OSU NAMES TIKALSKY DEAN OF COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE AND TECHNOLOGY
Dr. Paul J. Tikalsky has been appointed dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology Friday during its regular meeting in Miami. Tikalsky is currently the Civil and Environmental Engineering department head at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Tikalsky will assume the role of CEAT Dean on July 1. He also will hold a tenured appointment as Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and an adjunct appointment in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at OSU.
