Oklahoma State University Celebrates 30-Year Partnership with The Collegiate Licensing Company

Oklahoma State University recently celebrated its 30-year partnership with The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), a division of IMG College. Since the company's inception in1981, CLC has assisted Oklahoma State with successfully managing its trademark licensing program and more effectively protecting and developing its brand.
"We greatly appreciate and are honored by Oklahoma State's commitment to CLC over the past 30 years and commend their efforts as a pioneering institution in the collegiate licensing business," said Bill Battle, Founder and Chairman of The Collegiate Licensing Company. "Oklahoma State was one of CLC's first clients, and we look forward to continuing to develop initiatives to help maximize its brand value in the marketplace, well into the future."

"Our 30-year relationship with CLC to manage, protect and develop the OSU brand has helped maximize our exposure and retail presence to better serve our students, alumni, and fans."
Throughout the partnership, CLC has assisted Oklahoma State with managing programs including its Big 12 Conference record 50 national championships, the 1995 and 2004 Final Four appearances, the 2011 Big 12 Football Champions program, and the 2012 Fiesta Bowl Champions program. CLC also assisted the University with its rebranding initiative in 2000.
During its 30-year partnership with CLC, retail sales of licensed merchandise bearing Oklahoma State University marks have grown steadily to a total of more than $45 million.
Royalty revenue from Oklahoma State licensed merchandise provides support for the general scholarship fund.
Oklahoma State was among 20 institutions honored for a 30-year partnership with CLC at the Licensing Directors' Seminar, which was held May 22-24 in Atlanta, Ga.
