Oklahoma State University students receive Order of Omega scholarships

Oklahoma State University students Ashley Sebranek and Meaghan Hoose recently received
National Order of Omega scholarships.
Sebranek, a senior Communication Sciences and Disorders major from Covington, Okla.,
is a member of Chi Omega sorority and was awarded with a $750 scholarship. She is
currently the Order of Omega President.
Hoose, a senior accounting major from Edmond, Okla., is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta
sorority and was awarded a $500 scholarship.
“I could not be more proud of these young ladies, “ said Sarah Kirk, Order of Omega
adviser. “Our chapter of Order of Omega would not be the same without their dedication
and commitment to this organization.”
The scholarships were awarded based on leadership, service, and academic achievements.
OSU’s Zeta Alpha chapter of Order of Omega currently has 107 outstanding students.
Order of Omega is a national honor society for the top three percent of Greek students.
The purpose of Order of Omega is to recognize Greeks who have attained a high standard
of leadership, to encourage them to continue along this line, and to inspire others
to strive for similar attainment.
Applications to join Order of Omega will be available on March 26 and will be due
April 6. Applicants must have 60 credit hours completed and above a 3.0 grade point
average to apply.
