OSU introducing two new wireless networks to better serve campus
To provide better wireless service and security to the Stillwater campus, OSU is
introducing dedicated wireless networks for OSU employees and students. The university
will eliminate the OSUWIRELESS and OSUSECURE networks on Wednesday, May 16, and replace
them with:
- OSUSTAFF – This wireless network will function identically to the current OSUSECURE network, with the exception of being accessible to only university staff, faculty and administrators.
- OSUSTUDENT – This wireless network will function identically to the current OSUSECURE network, with the exception of being accessible to only university students.
There will be a downtime for all wireless services on May 16 from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. while these changes are being made.
